Kodaikanal is one of the very popular and most sought after Honeymoon and holiday destination hill resorts in tamil nadu. This hill station stands 7200 feet above sea level and situated in upper palani hills of the westernghats near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. By spending his own money he converted the marshy land with several streams of lake by constructing a strong bund and brought boats from Tuticorin. It is reported that the foreign resident's even used to swim in the lake. Other popular sightseeing places in Kodaikanal are Green Valley View (Suicide Point), Kodai Lake, Bear Shola Falls, Pillar Rocks, Thalaiyar Falls, Devil's Kitchen.

Well its almost close by to Pannaikadu .. You need to walk deep inside to get here .. its such a beautiful heritage of ancient life .. U should go see how they lived during Stone age .. its just 3 huge stones , two on the side n one on the top I would say which was their home during the Stone Age.
